Anything typed into a search box on this site goes directly to the outside provider that runs that tool. The provider processes the query and returns the results. We do not store or log the search terms on our side.

If you send an email, we keep the message so we can write back. Your note stays inside our team, and we do not share it outside the organization unless a legal obligation requires it.

No Warrant Data on File
This site does not host, compile, maintain, or sell databases of warrants or personal warrant records. It publishes general guidance about where Benton County warrant records are held and how to check them through the Sheriff's Office, the District Court in Foley, and Minnesota's statewide case search. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and nothing we collect about visitors is assembled into consumer reports or into records about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
The search boxes on this site are operated by outside companies. Whatever you enter into one of those tools is handled under the partner's own privacy policy rather than this one. Those partners set their own retention and sharing practices, and we do not control them. It is worth reading the partner's policy before submitting a search.

Pages on this site link to sheriff's office pages, court systems, statewide case search tools, and legal resources. Following one of those links takes you off this site, and the destination's own privacy policy governs from that point. Read it before sharing personal details.

Minnesota's Government Data Practices Act, Minn. Stat. 13.03 and the rest of chapter 13, governs data held by state and local government offices, not by a private website like this one. Even so, you can always ask us about information we hold, and we will respond to reasonable requests. At a minimum, you can:
